Bonnie Define MA, LPC, NCC is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in individual, couples, and family psychotherapy, and maintains a private practice in O'Fallon, MO.  Founder of the Marriage and Family Institute, Bonnie is committed to providing support and resources for individuals and community organizations who seek to promote healthy marriage and family relationships.

In addition to her work with couples and individuals, Bonnie recently launched the new online referral service www.goodguidance.org.  Identifying the need for an intensive support and referral network that is accessible for individuals struggling with the recent economic downturn,  the website is designed to provide resources and information to assist with a wide variety of issues.  Users are prompted to submit a confidential inquiry by e-mail, and will receive a reply within 2 business days containing appropriate referrals and suggestions to assist with problem resolution.  

With nearly ten years of experience as a clinician, and a graduate of the Florida Gulf Coast University, Bonnie currently serves as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are marriage and couples counseling, treatment for anxiety and depression, and life coaching and counseling for individuals who seek to positively redefine themselves and their lives during times of transition.

Bonnie is a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. She incorporates a blend of conventional and alternative approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.
